When I do I just simply mark it as spam and never see it again. I do moderate all my comments so that helps a bit, I think that scares the spammers away. of course now that I said that I could be bombarded with spam but hey at least I have an active blog. Since I do not have a baseline figure I can not give an accurate figure as to how much this is actually helping. But that is besides the point. I believe that those that give good meaningful comments should be rewarded in some small way for their effort. After all they are contributing to my site and to the discussion in general. There is also a "badge" to display on your blog indicating that you are a DoFollow blog but I have yet to add that as I predict that this is going to become the norm anyways and that will simply detract from everything else.
