Hi. I stumbled across your website by an accident and was happy that I took a second to look. My father and my friends have recently started a significant amount of internet research to locate apartments in Italy and what to rent and other stuff. I really like this take on anti-tourism that Anthony pursues with his show.I have walked pretty much all of Venice, Italy and remember most of the streets but some I just could not make out. This is a good post to send to everyone I know and my standard response to people who consider doing anything online. Good one!

Sure, Venice receives lots of tourists. Sure, Burano lies outside the city. But what I admire Anthony Bourdain’s shows for is that he helps you to see even very touristy cities such as Venice with a different perspective, a frame of mind that allows you to get in touch with the locals and enjoy their culture.

Seems like an interesting show. I strongly agree with anti-tourism msg. Places like Venice and Prague are definitely one of the most obvious examples of tourism ‘plague’
